We moved here from Pittsburgh. We find Oil City to be easier, less expensive — and very supportive of their artists! I have a studio in the National Transit Building where I found some great new friends and colleagues. This is an ideal base of operations for my business, which is picture book illustration and speaking engagements.

The attraction to me was low cost living in this area, affordable housing, and the beauty of the place. It reminds me of any European village.
